LITTLE BLACK DRESS...

Hi lovelies...
Every girl needs a little black dress in her wardrobe, one that isn't too complex and long but just the right length to be tucked into a pair of jeans. Are you surprised? that I am suggesting tucking in a gown into a pair of pants....Please don't be!! This has been useful to me on several occasions such as packing up in order for me to travel light. It gives me room to style my pants and skirt with just one outfit but there are several things to keep in mind when buying that "little black dress".

  • Some may ask why 'Black'...Black because it is so easy to style with other colors and it won't easily be noticed that you are actually repeating outfits LOLZ.
  • The little black dress mustn't have prints or designs on it.
  • The little black dress must be of comfortable material
  • The little black dress mustn't be a MAXI.....that's why, its themed 'little' black dress.
  • The little black dress shouldn't be super expensive.

I was drawn to this dress on Lamoda by Lost ink, I guess you guys know by now how much I love shopping on Lamoda. Being that Belarus isn't quite open to some foreign designers and top known shops worldwide. Lamoda makes it easy for me to reach out to foreign brands and do some quality shopping on my bed(winks). I styled this simple but lovely gown in four ways.

  1. Just as it is....This can be worn out for dinner ,club, a blazer on it to church, girls night out and other events.
  2. Daytime outings...I wore the dress with a shirt thrown over. The shirt can be left unbuttoned, buttoned, or even tied up as shown. This makes the dress look super comfortable and suitable for daytime outings such as shopping, cinema and many more.
  3. A classy look....I went for a classy look by pairing the dress up with a super stretchy but long shirt which automatically changed the look.
  4. A casual look...This can be worn out for classes as a student, you can even go an extra mile by throwing on a flannel shirt on this look. I paired it with a bomber jacket and a pair of ballerina shoes, This outfit style is super comfortable.
