BE MY VALENTINE...

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!

Valentine's Day is tomorrow and many of us might spend that day indoor or may be scurrying to make last minute plans. Most of the time we get ourselves confused as to what makeup or outfit to wear!! Many bloggers have suggested a natural look for valentine but If you are anything like me (playful), and would love to add color to your face. This makeup look would work out perfectly fine.

Valentine's looks are very easy to recreate and can be duplicated within a few minutes. This look is a very playful yet chic look, as I went for a flirtatious, bold eye makeup and a pink lip. I ensured to top my lipstick with lip gloss, in order to give the appearance of a juicy yet healthy lips as one might not know when a kiss might be stolen(winks).

Chances are you probably already have most of the products needed to create this look in your collection. It mustn't be a top notch brand but as well as the pigmentation and color shade is alright, feel free to use. The first thing  to do before doing any makeup is to start on a clean fresh face and apply your makeup base ( this would be your moisturizer, primer and foundation). You may choose to do your eye makeup first, since we would be playing with glitters on the eyes.......just to avoid mess ups.

Products used

• Face Moisturizer
• Primer
• Foundation
• Concealer(highlight and contour)
• Highlighting powder
• General face powder
• Blush powder
• Illuminating bronzer (shimmery highlight)
• Eye-shadows (pink, purple, brown, nude)
• Eye glitter (pink)
• Black gel liner (below the eyes)
• Eye lash and lash glue ( add volume to natural lash)
• Mascara (for add volume to my natural lashes)
• Eye brow pencil (to outline my brows)
• Eye brow powder (to fill in brows)
• Eye brow gel (to set brows in place)
• Setting spray (gives the makeup a more natural finish)
• Makeup brushes and sponges (instruments)

Step 1: Clean and moisturize your face, apply your primer then follow it up with your foundation or skip this step till after the eye-makeup is done....If you're scared of being messy.

Step 2: Apply your natural eyelid color (brown), then follow it up with a pink eye-shadow. Apply the purple eye shadow slightly above your crease and within. Apply glitters on the pink eye-shadow and blend out the purple shadow with the nude/beige  eye-shadow color. Apply your falsies and draw winged eye liner above your lashes.
Apply the gel black liner on your water line below, a black eye pencil would do also. Then follow it up by applying mascara to your lower lashes.

Step 3: Draw and fill in your brows, then keep them in place with the brow gel.(ensure to clean up your outlined brows with a concealer, to make it neat). highlight 1/3 underneath your brows.

Step 4: If you were waiting to be done with your eye makeup, now is the time to proceed......go to (Step 1)

Step 5:  Apply the lighter concealer on the high points of your face and underneath your eyes, apply the darker shade to areas, you which to contour and blend them all out the same time. Set the highlighted areas with a bright powder and apply your general face powder all over.

Step 6: Make a smile and apply your blush, you can always brush out the excess with your powder brush but apply slightly.

Step 7: Apply your shimmery highlight on your upper cheekbone, tip of nose, inner tear ducts and if you want to your lips.

Step 8: Line and fill in your lips with your favorite pink lipstick and apply a gloss on.

Step 9: Finish makeup with a setting spray.
