AN EX'S DILEMMA"PART 2"

The next morning🌖 was a happy one for Ayo, she had woken the whole house up with loud music bursting out🎶of her room. Ayo Ayo don't kill us with all this oyinbo music ooo screamed her mother from the living room downstairs...too late Ayo was in her own world humming and dancing 💃around her room as she sorted out the things, she bought from the States back home for her loved ones👭. All she needed to do next was help herself to breakfast and hop off to her father's best friend "Alhaji sari" for a tour around his company and business meeting. Her main reasons for coming back was to secure a contact worth millions of Naira, her father's friend had promised her and also to gather some basic knowledge of how companies function in Nigeria. Funny enough if things turns out well, she wouldn't be securing contacts alone but a man's heart as well💘.....Segun's of course😉.



As she drove out of her father's compound, she decided to give Segun the much agitated phone call📞.What if he doesn't pick up? What does his voice sound like? What was she even going to say to him? She began to think to herself💭but before she could process her numerous thoughts and comport herself, her little finger mistakenly clicked the call button. Hello!! May I know who's on the line? The caller answered within seconds, that familiar, deep, rich voice spoke. Oh my God🙈!! He picked up...he picked up Ayo screamed rather loud, making herself appear like a toddler who was hearing a Man's voice for the 1st time. Yes I pick up the voice on the other end replied with a laugh😅. Ayo is this you? Talk to me babe...Is this you? asked equally excited Segun. Yes dear it is me she replied. They continued their chat as if there was never a communication bridge between them, they laughed and cracked old boring jokes together ...saying how well and much each other was missed. The phone conversation ended when Ayo sighted road safety men ahead of her but with the promise of a date the following day.


Mummy mummy😰 screamed Ayo on the top of her lung. Yes my princess her mother replied. Mum I am going on a date with Segun this evening🌅 and I don't know what to wear, please help me decide between these two red gowns. Hmmm, Ayo you're going on a date and I am just finding out👩!!..Na wa ooo, anyways have you told your father asked her mother. No I haven't mum but you can tell daddy for me na!! No ooo , tell him yourself sweetheart before your father would say I am the one spoiling you said her mother as she rolled her eyes and gave a loud hiss in the process. Okay mummy I will tell him myself but what should I wear🙇 ? Ayo asked again. Wear that you red midi gown then, it will accentuate your curves from the look of it. Okay my fashionista mummy Ayo hails happily🙌. Segun was at the gate to pick her up at exactly 9pm, He looked so good with his two piece suit, clean sharp hair cut and designer Gucci shoes...Mhennn..He smelled so good and fresh too🤗😍. Everything was as she had imagined in her head, she wanted this moment to last forever. Segun had told her she looked beautiful and admitted he loved her gown, he held her hands👫 and assured her for the tenth time that night that he was never going to let her out of his sight and reach ever again🙏. This was one of the best date she had ever been to. Segun ensured to pick the best and most expensive meals🍝and wine🍸 out of the menu. he acted like a perfect gentleman all through the night and also offered to drop her home🚘.


It was just as if nothing had happened between them. Segun was always so nice and polite to her☺, he picked her up from business meetings, took her on numerous dates and even took her to see his parents👴👵. Although Ayo noticed his younger sister was a little cold towards her...she didn't take it as anything, younger sisters can be a bit possessive she thought to herself !! Three months passed with all the casual romance and a little sneak of kisses💋💋 here and there...It was time for Ayo to go back to the States to finalize her programme and to return finally in a year time. Segun had requested to take Ayo out on a date for the last time before she left🛫 and 'of course' Miss Ayo was ready😉!! She was ready for a little romance and sweet talks, she was ready for promises of them staying together😗 but what she wasn't ready for was the ugly, dirty looking Motel😲Segun's car stopped in front of. Segun!! Kilode Ayo said with her eyeballs almost bulging out with surprise😱. Yes babe replied Segun I just want us to wait for a friend here love...I told him, I was with my bae and he said he wanted to see you before you go back to the states. Okay ooo said surprised Ayo😨 with uncertainty🤔in her voice. They proceeded to the open bar and after waiting for twenty minutes Ayo couldn't take it anymore. She was so uncomfortable, the smell of cigarettes, cheap vodka and the looks she got from some men around wasn't appealing😶. Segun had left her to go speak with the receptionist. Prostitutes kept throbbing in and out, she even heard one shouting at a man saying 😮Abeg no dey look me ooo...you way no dey pay money finish, na on top bed you won kill person!!(pidgin). For real!!😟.was this going to be her last date experience with Segun?


She stomped in angrily to the reception area to meet Segun. Segun please let's leave this place..your friend isn't showing up said impatient Ayo😥. Bae sorry I took so long said Segun with a crooked smile🙄 on his face. I just booked us a room bae, lets go in and have fun😉. At this moment she was confused whether to slap his face or walk out on him but she said to herself to act mature and not to create a scene🙊. Imagine!! She should come have "Fun" in a shabby, dirty looking, foul smelling Motel. Yes!! she hasn't had sex in four years but mhennn this wasn't the way to go by it😿. Where is the respect he said he had for her? Doesn't he want their sexual experience to be special? Was he broke that he couldn't take her somewhere better or at least voiced his thoughts about sex😡? She thought to herself but before she could think any further. Babe can we go in? the receptionist just handled the keys over to me Segun whispered in her ears bringing her back to reality💬. Segun! Segun!! the way you take collect that key....use that way take return am and meet me in the car 👺😠she spoke loud and angrily in pidgin english for the first time since her return back to Nigeria. She was in a state of shock😱 and couldn't process what just happened, as she made her way back to the car she heard some ladies laughing😂 and screaming "Bad market" at Segun but she couldn't comprehend much as she was too angry to think🤔. Segun came to the car in five minutes time, apologized and offered to take her home. The ride home🚘 was a very silent one as neither one spoke to each other. He called her that night and wished her a safe trip back to the States with repeated promises of keeping in touch  and that was the last time she heard from him till she traveled back😑.


Ayo! Ayo!! her housemate screamed running up💃 the stairs to meet her, she lives with her housemate Rukky in a two bedroom duplex🏡 and they have been housemates for three years now. Anytime Rukky calls her in this tune, it normally does not mean well. What Rukky don't scream your lung out, what's the matter? 🙄asked anxious Ayo. Isn't this Segun dear? said Rukky as she proceeded to show Ayo several screenshots of his pictures on her fone📱.... Segun just got married ooo!! I saw his pictures on Bellanaija on Instagram and trust me I went to his facebook profile to stalk him. Lo and behold, you need to see the numerous engagement pictures on his page😲....Mhennn that guy doesn't have a chill button oo,all this in just three weeks you left Nigeria!!  continued Rukky. Rukky has always been a social media freak and she is the type to know all the latest gists and gossips in town, So Ayo was certain she wasn't lying. So Segun played her!! No wonder his sister wasn't welcoming to her and his Dad👴 didn't say much to her on her visit to his family house but Segun told her he broke up with this current girl some months ago and that they were no longer together. She must have been a fool to believe him!! So yoruba demons👹 really exist? She couldn't believe her ears and eyes as her housemate proceeded to show her pictures of the wedding ceremony👰. Rukky!! that is enough dear, do you want to go out for lunch? was all Ayo could say as tears😢streamed down her cheeks. Yes love, I will Rukky said as she held her hands and they walked out the door👭.
